Why Your Content Doesn’t Always Have to Be Original

For starters, there’s nothing new under the sun

Think about the last blog post you wrote. Where did you get that idea? Or if you’ve ever published a book, how did you come by the inspiration?

Okay, I’m not saying there is no way you can write something original. Or that you are not capable of making a discovery and sharing all about it in your writing.

But really, just about everything we watch or read these days has been said before. Maybe slightly differently, and in different words.

Even what you’re reading this very second has at least been written about by someone, only I don’t know who that was.

Nor do I know when, but trust me, it’s not original.

The same applies to your next blog post. Or your favorite article or book. The best the author might have done is to modify an idea to suit their situation.

With a few exceptions, of course. But that’s only because, to every rule, there’s an exception.

So why does your writing need not always be original?

Information overdose
