What Is Leftfield Talk About?
Two things
First, I believe we’re all on a journey. Along this journey, we have collected a lot of experiences we might want to share with the world.
The pictures you just uploaded on social media and the status update, for example, are proof enough. Almost every action is in some way telling a story.
We all need a space to tell our story, with little inhibitions. It may be through books, journals, or podcasts.
There is no one solution for all. We all have our choice of medium. For those of us interested in baring our souls by writing, we realize there are restrictions sometimes.
I may not have submitted my stories to every publication on here, but I have tried a few and got rejected.
Not because my stories were terrible per se, but because I didn’t meet some style guides. Sometimes my story was off-theme. Or I just couldn’t mold the story to suit the publication’s tastes. Fair play to everyone, and total respect for every editor.
But who wouldn’t want to share their stories with the world, as is?….with all the raw emotions and rough edges. Not you, and certainly not me.
That’s what Leftfield Talk is about. Creating an avenue for sharing these stories with the world. My personal stories at least.
