To some extent, I would agree.

But sometimes, the people closest to us who love us dearly, and mean well, can come up with suggestions that end up dissuading us from taking action.

They may fear the worst for us if we took that big leap, but that leap may be what turns things around for us. In hindsight, ignoring their advice turns out to be a smart move.

But that's only thanks to hindsight.
