This phenomenon wasn't something that got much of my attention until I saw a prominent footballer in my country raise three daughters who apparently weren't his(thanks to DNA testing). His wife concealed this fact from him, and it became a nasty divorce. It could be a psychological blow when anyone finds out the truth about who their real father is, or isn't.
