Taking a Break from Medium
Thanking all of you readers, editors, and fans for your support.
Everything that has a beginning has an end. And a mid-point.
Just like I joined Medium quietly, I figure I’ll leave quietly someday. But while I’m not at the point yet, I’ll guess I’m at the midpoint stage.
I’ve been putting it off for months now. But maybe it’s time to finally take that much-needed break from Mediuming. Officially, deliberately. In a little over two years, I’ve written many, many words, and read even more.
And I feel I need a bit of a break to recharge my batteries. And also take stock of many things that lost their place to me writing on Medium.
How long will I be gone?
I plan to make it the whole of February since it’s the shortest month, and the break will soon be over before I knew it.
But I could be tempted back sooner, like athletes unretiring or returning to the action sooner than projected after an injury layoff. Or it could be longer than planned.
I guess the answer is I don’t know.
However, what I do know is I’ll miss reading the brilliant stories from all you wonderful community members and friends.
