On finishing, I'd say to break the work into chunks and set deadlines. So, for example, you try to finish the first draft in 3 days; (intro on day 1, body on day 2, and conclusion on day 3).

Then the first round of edits probably a day later, and another round of edits with research at another time, etc. But all within a time frame (not too rigid, but as a guide).

I'm assuming that's for a 1,000 word-ish article, right?
