Great lessons, man. I remember my friends and I once followed some of these silly tips and didn’t bother to involve a travel agent or check out hotels before a trip to another city. One of our colleagues assured us he grew up in that city.

It turned out there was a huge concert in town, and by the time we learned of it, even the semi-decent hotels were all booked. It was a struggle when we got there.
