At first I wasn't clapping at all. Then I went 20 max: it wasn't fun tapping my touchpad 40 times. But now that I use a physical mouse, I just hold it down till I reach 50. I find that a big source of appreciation and encouragement to the new writers out there. It's different when I read on phone though, as sometimes I'm unable to clap.
